Getting started...
I want to use this blog for my own personal Podcasting-practise. I want to make podcasts for my friends, but have little idea how, and thus need a lot of feedback.
These podcasts are for my friends, but if you want to listen them as well, you have my blessing ^_^.
Thus far I'm still planning, and I could use feedback on that. For example, there are things I need, for when I truely want to start podcasting (remember, this is still practise!!).
- Do you know a site that hosts Podsafe Music, from the genre J-pop?
- Do you know a site that hosts Podsafe Music, from artists like Metallica, Alpaville, Queen etc?
I planned the podcast to appear monthly, and have the following subjects/ themes/ parts:
- About me (a little bit about me; each time something different)
- News (things that happened to me in the last month)
- Dutch and Seken (some of my friends like to learn Dutch (my native language) and Seken (my own made up language XD). I want to use these podcasts to give them what they want ^_^).
- Media (Kinda like reviews of Anime/ Manga/ TV shows I own, collect, follow or saw and want to talk about).
- Characters (I have a LOT of characters I made up. Each time I want to tell about 1 character I love ^_^)
- Story Telling (about 2 people already kind of forced me to do this XD I write stories, lots of them, and they want me to read out a story for them XD)
Any more suggestions? Or would this be too much?
The music I planned to use, will be 30 second-samples tops. Whenever possible, I will already use Podsafe music, but since this is still practise, I can take my time gathering Podsafe music.
Last question... which story will I read out loud first?
- Serenay Moon's Silent Threat (already available at www.serenaymoon.tk or www.geocities.com/serenaymoon ) ... or....
- Serenay Moon's Infestation (not yet published)
I know some hoped for Forever Young, but Gomen, maybe in the future. I still want to publish it, and I don't know if reading it out loud will be allowed.
Any more tips? I already made my first podcast try out (dutch, for school) at http://eazyshare.net/files/40/PodcastK2.mp3 . Feel free to listen and give me tips.
